Our Mission: We are committed to a Nigeria where government institutions are more responsive to the voice of its citizens.

What We Do

At A-Goal Initiative, we envision a thriving Africa where empowered citizens actively engage in equitable governance, hold institutions accountable, and lead the transformation of public services for the benefit of all.

Deepen Public Education on Governance

We provide public education and enlightenment on governance issues, citizen rights and roles in shaping public institutions, as well as skills training to cultivate informed and active citizenship.

Promote Quality Public Service Delivery

Through optimisation of citizens’ lived experiences and sentiments as well as advocacy, we work to improve the responsiveness of public services to better meet the needs of the people.

Improve Citizens’ Participation in Development and Governance Processes

We design initiatives and projects that encourage individuals and groups to play an active role in shaping sustainable, inclusive development and governance in their communities.

Our Approach

Our mission is to foster an environment where governance becomes inclusive, transparent, and responsive to the needs of every community.

Research and Data Production

We strive to be a consistent and dynamic platform for knowledge sourcing for both citizens and governments by conducting critical research based on demographic indices to accurately display trends, sentiments, and opinions around public service delivery and governance in Nigeria.

Data-Driven Advocacy

Our advocacy efforts are grounded in data, ensuring that every recommendation and public engagement is backed by facts that highlight real issues and actionable insights that empower policymakers, organizations, and citizens to make informed decisions that address real challenges and drive meaningful changes across communities and sectors.

Building Movement for Communal Actions

We galvanise citizen movements and mobilize communities as active agents of their own development, and to cultivate a self-sustaining ecosystem of collaboration and civic action.

Through organizing and collaboration, we strengthen civic participation and ensure that every community has the tools, skills, and voice needed to make compelling cases for its reforms and shape its own development.

Making a Difference Where It Truly Matters

Causes, both natural and man-made.

2012 is on record as the year with the highest impact of flood disasters in 50 years. Sadly, 2025 is competing with 2012 on the estimated number of lives lost during flooding incidents, with Mokwa’s April and May flooding disasters contributing over 95%.
