About the role
Young Civic Volunteers help A-Goal Initiative take civic knowledge further. You will support our campaigns and public education online, bring the views of your community into our work, and learn how civic organisations turn evidence into action.
You do not need previous experience. You need a real interest in how Nigeria is governed, a willingness to learn, and the commitment to see your tasks through.
What you will do
- Support A-Goal campaigns and civic education activities online.
- Share accurate information about governance and public services with your networks and community.
- Contribute ideas, feedback and community perspectives to our programmes.
- Help with research, outreach and content tasks as they come up.
Who we are looking for
- Young people with an interest in civic issues, governance, democracy, public service delivery and accountability, human rights or community development, who are willing to learn and contribute to A-Goal Initiative’s programmes.
- Good communication and basic digital skills.
It helps if you have
- Previous volunteering, community engagement or civic participation. It is an advantage, but not required.
